Who Are We?

The Forum of Foundations and Associations for War Orphans is a civil, social and philanthropic partnership, which aims to integrate and connect foundations, associations, organizations, government ministries, public bodies, businesses, private entities and individuals who deal with, promote and care for the orphans of the Iron Swords war.

The Forum serves as an umbrella organization that will enable the promotion of common issues and broad goals from the complexity of the field of orphanhood and circles of trauma and bereavement, which affect all areas of life of orphans, their families and communities, based on cooperation, coalitions or inter-organizational initiatives, with attention and responsibility for implementing systematic rehabilitative daily responses for the short term, and planning responses for the long term - so as not to leave them alone in this struggle, and to enable everyone a sense of resilience, continuity and hope.

Forum Uniqueness in the Field

The Forum is a methodological infrastructure that unites the group of organizations with a common interest, with the aim of sharing knowledge, conducting dialogue, formulating positions, motivating action and promoting policy.

The Advisory Committee of the Forum for War Orphans is a guiding committee, composed of people from academia, public, education, diplomacy and spirit, representing the diversity of groups and viewpoints relevant to the field of orphanhood.

We believe that the unique diversity of the committee will enable the Forum and its partners to guide directions of action and beneficial means for orphans - from annual planning to strategic planning. Thus serving as a strategic public family, so that it will be possible to reach decisions and promote policy, legislation and responses in issues that affect all areas of life for orphans.
